Starfield features a vast variety of optional Side Missions that can be completed to explore new questlines, earn some extra Credits, or cultivate a relationship with your chosen Faction. But because Starfield has more Side Missions than the blackest sea has stars, it can be difficult to distinguish which Missions are best suited for your current playthrough.

UC Vanguard Side Missions

The UC Vanguard, headquartered in New Atlantis, is where aspiring hopefuls can enlist to assist the United Colonies and earn their citizenship. But what starts as ordinary work assisting colonies will quickly turn into a race to save the galaxy from an imminent and deadly threat.

Freestar Collective Side Missions

The Freestar Rangers are the true arbiters of justice in the Freestar Collective settlements, and those looking to become a Ranger will be tasked with keeping the peace and uncovering deadly plots.

Gagarin Side Missions

There's a small settlement on the planet Gagarin in the Alpha Centauri System (the same solar system that New Atlantis is located in), but its residents have fallen on hard times since the Colony Wars. So it's time to help out.
