Get ready for a thrilling journey into the world of Sylvester Stallone and his latest series, Tulsa King! The third season just premiered, and it's an action-packed ride from start to finish. With new episodes dropping weekly until mid-November, the show is keeping us on the edge of our seats.
Our very own Jay Saint G had the incredible opportunity to chat with Stallone and his talented co-stars, including Garrett Hedlund, Bella Heathcote, and more. During these interviews, Jay asked each actor a burning question: What's your favorite Stallone movie?
Now, you might be thinking, "Well, that's an easy one! It's got to be Rocky, right?" But here's where it gets interesting... and a little controversial. Some of the classics you'd expect to hear about, like First Blood and Rambo, were mentioned, but there were also some surprising picks. And the only reference to the Rocky sequel beyond Rocky II was on Jay's tie! It's a mystery why some of Stallone's iconic films didn't make the cut.
For those who haven't caught up with Tulsa King yet, here's a quick catch-up: In season three, Dwight's empire is expanding, but so are his enemies. He faces a powerful and dangerous family, the Dunmires, who don't play by the rules. Dwight must fight to protect his crew and everything he's built. It's an intense season with an all-star cast, including Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, and the legendary Samuel L. Jackson, who will be leading the upcoming spin-off, NOLA King.
But let's get back to the heart of the matter: Stallone's movies. The video above reveals the favorite picks of Stallone and his co-stars. I won't spoil it for you, but I will say that it's an eclectic mix. For me, I have to go with Cobra. It's a personal favorite, and I find myself watching it over and over again.
So, what's your take? Do you agree with the choices made by the Tulsa King crew? Or do you have a different Stallone movie that holds a special place in your heart? Leave a comment and let's discuss! It's always fun to hear different perspectives and uncover the reasons why certain movies resonate with us.
